The man, who last year, the shepherd Jana killed in a cruel way (see previous blog entry), was today sentenced in the District Court frets to a 12-month prison sentence without parole and to an animal holding prohibition of 5 years!
came for the German shepherd but too late to help, but we hope that this ruling may deter other offenders and show them that animal abuse can not be longer than a child prank or petty offense is unacceptable!
